To create an easy to update site for the British Iaido Association. The website allows the sharing of club information and news, and also helps members and non-members search for clubs in their area. The website was designed in such a way that most of the information is stored in a database. The idea behind eliphas arts was to build a simple site to show off various works of art, from music, to pictures, to short animated movies. The small blue character eliphas was used to tie all of the pages together, and set an overall theme for the project which influenced the colours and general graphical style. The website was designed to allow the addition of further sections in the future a simple exercise, with a games section currently in development!

The European Iaido Association is a martial arts organization providing a common meeting place for all practitioners of the art of Iaido throughout Europe and the Common-Wealth. A different route has been taken with this project. The client did not know exactly what would be required of the site from the outset, and so it was implemented in such a way as to keep it open ended, allowing us the ability to add, remove, or change parts as and when the site evolves.

The website is database driven and allows the user to search for Iaido clubs in different countries. As new clubs join the association, they are added to the database, and the website automatically updates itself.

The site was required to allow organizations to contact Philip and get a better idea about the type of performances he offers. A content management system was included to allow Philip to add poems himself, and the site was designed to be as easy as possible to update and expand.

When the UKCU decided to update their website, they found their logo was looking a little dated, and the only copy they had was a small gif file which would not scale very well. Quiddity Web Design took the old logo and rebuilt it in 3d. This allowed a larger image to be produced for use in all company literature, not just the website.

During a site rebrand, the owners of uk car ads decided it was time to replace the old logo. The original concept with the new logo was to design something similar the badges you see on the front of cars, this design was later altered to bring in the red, white, and blue colours and help tie the logo in with the U.K. location of the company. As the client rebuilt their website, they also requested another version of the logo. As the logo was built in 3d this was not a problem, and a further version was rendered using just the logo outlines, and was placed on the website as a background image.

A short flash animation was also developed to help explain to users the advantages of using U.K Car Ads. The animation explains where the ads are seen, and helps contain quite a substantial amount of information into a small and easily readable section of the page.
